브라질의 영웅 노숙자

브라질의 한 교회 앞에서 인질극이 벌어졌습니다.

범인은 인질을 끌고 억지로 교회앞까지 갔지만 계속된 인질의 저항에 애를 먹느라 다가오던 노숙자를 발견하지 못했습니다.

그리고 그 순간.

노숙자는 인질에게 다가가 인질을 제압하려하지만, 아쉽게도 완벽히 제압은 하지 못하고, 인질범에게 총을 맞습니다. 

순간적으로 일어난 일이라 노숙자 본인도 총을 맞았는지 인지를 못하고 있다가 

범인이 경찰의 총에 맞아 쓰러진 순간. 

노숙자에서 영웅이 된 그도 같이 쓰러집니다. 

비록 안탑깝게도 노숙사도 총상으로 사망하였지만, 

한 사람일지라도 구하고 떠난 그는 노숙자가 아닌 영웅이라 하기에 충분할 듯 싶습니다.

Police shot and killed a gunman after he opened fire on a homeless man during a hostage situation in front of the Sao Paulo Cathedral, Friday.

 The gunman, 49-year-old Luiz Antonio da Silva, reportedly took a woman hostage in the cathedral earlier in the day. When a homeless man named Erasmo Francisco Rodrigues de Lima saw the incident unfolding he tried to intervene. Silva and Lima got into a brief scuffle and Silva shot Lima several times, killing him on the steps of the cathedral in front of a crowd of onlookers. Police then opened fire on Silva, killing him
